May Open House

So the first weekend is over and what a weekend it has been!

This year we have some really lovely new artists exhibiting at the house.
Above you can see the gorgeous images of birds by the talented illustrator Vicky Woodgate.

I am exhibiting my usual textile work, corsages and some new Scrap Bunting!

Rafe, the son of the talented Polly and Chris who's house we are exhibiting in has created these really beautiful and delicate dragonfly brooches and garden sculptures.

Polly Raynes has some new paintings on display, I particularly love her new Devon coastal paintings...
I will try and take a photo of them this week.

Charlie High is with us again with her sumptuous Silver Jewellery, I wish I could buy all of it!

Fairy Skirts of course!

Annie McMullan has her delightful glass and resin jewellery as well as her garden pieces!

Hillary Collins has some delicious silk scarves all hand made.

Another new artist to the house is the delightful Gabrielle Vary, with her knitted cushions, scarves and these beautiful bolero jackets.

New to us as well is the jeweller  Daisy Dunlop with her quirky and fun resin jewellery.

A few of the Fiveways Open Houses are having the chance to exhibit the work of a visiting French Artist. We are very honoured to have the work of the Photographer Arnaud Bertereau. The picture does not do his work justice but please have a look at his website as he has added a new dimension to the world of photography, simply beautiful.

And finally Chris Brooks has some new metal sculptures in the house and garden, I love his new Bird Of Paradise Water feature which is in full flow in the garden pond, an elegant but practical piece of sculpture!
The house is open for the next 3 weekends of May from 11am to 5pm.
So pop by and have a look around a beautiful house showcasing some delightful work and relax in the gorgeous garden whilst eating the BEST handmade cakes ever!
